Block of the Month

Our newest block of the month is called Once Upon a Time. This is a delightful stitchery from Melly and Me in fun contemporary colors and design.

We are still offering Block of the Month programs from Kookaburra Cottage called Noah & Friends, Little Macca's Farm and Mother Goose, all with large easy applique. All are available with and without fabric. Fabric has been carefully chosen to match the original quilts whenever possible, however, with the Everyday Angel quilt we are also able to kit this up in bright colours with lots of pink & purple. Very girly.

The Chook Shed Block of the Month program called Celebration of Life is still available. I've made it up for my daughter and included her name and year of birth in place of the original wording. This is very easy to do as the complete alphabet is included.

These block of the month programs can only be ordered by credit card. Pattern with/without fabric will be sent out at the beginning of each month and your credit card will be charged the monthly fee plus postage. We are also happy to be flexible with how often you receive your blocks, whether it's two or more per month or all at once, please just email me and we'll make arrangements to suit.

Noah & Friends	Mother Goose Nursery

Size: 60 x 64" (152 x 162cm) A ten month program, $25 per month including fabric. Postage extra. Kookaburra Cottage have another gorgeous baby quilt with soft and cuddly characters and Noah as the central theme block. As usual, they are big easy blocks with blanket stitch appliqué, blocks include Gerry Giraffe, Cheeky Monkey and Zippy Zebra. Little Macca's Farm

Size: 60" square This enchanting childrens’ quilt has all the animals from the Old MacDonald Had a Farm nursery rhyme with a young twist to the story. Easy buttonhole appliqué with large pieces to stitch by hand or machine. All the animals and all their sounds to sing the song with an EIEIO to finish it off on the border. 14 pattern blocks in total available over 7 or 14 months with fabric for $20 per block including fabric, plus postage.
