Chrissy Down Under is the newest block of the month from McKenna Ryan.  The design was inspired by her trips to Australia and requests for Australian Animals in her nature inspired quilt designs.  There is a kangaroo, wallaby, bilby, Tasmanian devil, possum, kookaburra, koala, emu, echidna, wombat, rosella, penguin, galah and pelicans, all enjoying their Christmas.  Santa is not left out - he is at the beach in his togs.

This block of the month runs for nine months and has nine individual patterns that can also be made up separately as well as additional instructions to make up the complete quilt.  The finished quilt measures 64" x 55" and the very generous fabric (14m.) includes all you will need for the backgrounds, applique, borders and binding.  $54 per month over nine months, a total of $486 plus postage.  Due to the arrangement of fabric the first block has almost four metres of fabric, so the first payment will be a double one of $108 for the first block, the final ninth block will be free of charge.

Embellishment sets are also available as shown in the pattern for blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 9 for an additional cost.  Please email me for details.
